Pressing Cranberry Wine

In early December, we received 3200 pounds of cranberries from our friends at Swamp Apple Farm out on the Peninsula. Since then, they've been fermenting into cranberry wine.

Today Sam began pressing the berries. It's an old-school by-hand process, beautiful to watch. It's a good example of the step-by-step care that we take with every one of our products.

The samples we tasted were bursting with the robust berry flavor,  an electric tart and sweet balance, and iridescent red in color.

In a few weeks, It will be ready to be bottled as our outstanding Cranberry Mead. We will make sure to keep you posted. Cheers!
