The Porchlights combine traditional Celtic tunes and centuries-old story songs with a dash of peat moss and a sprinkle of sawdust from calloused fingers. The mischief began on the porch of 1213 Indian Street as late night fire-side entertainment between friends and occasional accompaniment for The Portico Dance Company. 

The tapestry of the Porchlights’ music is embellished by a revolving roster of renowned local fiddlers, guest soloists, and the voices of their audience. With one foot in the old world and one in the new, they put on a show that is both haunting and lively, steeped in Irish tradition and perfect for settling in with a pint. 

Listeners are guaranteed to leave with a lilt in their step, a tune in their head, and the smell of wood smoke in their hair.
