Harper Stone will be telling stories at the Honey Moon meadery, accompanied by harpist Kathie Hardy as well as Jan Peters and Brit Keeton, for an evening of story and Irish music.
Among the pieces told will be Gwillan's Harp, a masterpiece of a modern celtic tale, by Ursula K LeGuinn. We've got a beautiful arrangement put together for it, with harp, fiddle, bouzouki, and harmonica. I'll be telling the 20-minute long piece word-for-word, because it was written so perfectly, we couldn't imagine changing a single letter.
Plenty of fine music in between the stories to cleanse our paletes.
